Most trade and service businesses don't lose money on the work itself — they lose it in the gaps between the tools: the quote that never got chased, the order nobody could see the status of, the remake that quietly ate the margin, the customer who rang for an update. We built Park Glass a system to close those gaps.
Client: Park Glass Ltd — a glass merchant in Kent.
Park Glass had grown, but the tools hadn't kept up.
Quotes and order status lived in spreadsheets, follow-ups lived in someone's head, accounting sat in its own system, and customer conversations were scattered across email, phone and messaging apps. Nothing was joined up: quotes went out and weren't chased, order progress was buried in a spreadsheet rather than on a screen everyone could see, and remakes from breakages, supplier faults and warranty claims ate into margin without ever being measured. Customers rang the office for updates because there was nowhere for them to look.
Individually, none of these are unusual. Together they add up to hours of admin a week, lost conversions, and a business that can't see its own numbers in real time.
Rather than bend a generic CRM to fit, we built the system around the actual shape of Park Glass's work — enquiry, quote, follow-up, acceptance, invoice, supplier order, production, delivery or collection, completion, then retention. Every stage a real order passes through has a place in the system, so nothing falls between two tools. It uses their terminology, their pricing rules and their process — nothing adapted from a template.
Nimbus brings the whole operation into one place:
New enquiries, quotes awaiting action, orders in progress, remakes, deliveries, outstanding invoices and sales performance — all on one screen.
Contact and communication history, quotes, orders, invoices, notes, attachments and spend analytics in a single place.
Priced by glass type, thickness, processing and delivery, with PDF generation, email delivery, revision tracking and automated follow-up reminders so quotes get chased on time.
Lead times, live status, overdue flags, automatic customer updates, and collection or delivery management.
Supplier records, POs, lead-time and performance tracking, with costs linked back to the customer order.
Root-cause and cost tracking for breakages, supplier faults and warranty claims — turning a hidden cost into a number you can act on.
A customer-facing page showing order status and readiness — cutting the "any update?" calls.
Site visits, collections and deliveries, delivery pricing by zone and distance, and a central library for brochures, certificates and warranties.
Accounting stays the source of truth: Nimbus integrates with Xero, so invoicing and reconciliation remain in the finance system Park Glass already trusts — the platform pushes to it rather than replacing it. Invoices can be settled by automated Direct Debit, so payments collect on time and reconcile themselves back into the accounts, cutting the chasing and the admin. An in-app assistant, Lumi, sits across the platform to answer product, delivery and warranty questions and help the team work faster.
Every customer conversation from WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Instagram pulled into one shared inbox, tied to the customer record — so nothing gets missed across channels.
See which channels and campaigns actually bring in enquiries and orders, so spend follows what works.
A mobile app for drivers — the day's collections and deliveries, routes, and proof of delivery captured on site with photos and signatures.
When an order completes, automatically invite happy customers to leave a review — building reputation without the chasing.
The goal is simple to state: less time on admin, fewer missed follow-ups, better quote conversion, full visibility of every order, and real-time reporting an owner can actually act on. For Park Glass, the entire customer journey now lives in one system instead of five — and the operation is measurable end to end for the first time.
“Before Nimbus, everything lived in spreadsheets, notebooks and half a dozen apps — and things slipped through the cracks. Now the whole job sits in one place, quotes get chased on their own, and for the first time I can see exactly how the business is performing in real time. It's taken hours of admin off our week.” — Ollie, Park Glass
